We certainly landed on our feet in choosing this family run hotel for one night. Everyone happy to help. Nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was situated slightly away from the main building. We stayed in a prettily furnished “cottage” room which initially had no heat in the bathroom and the toilet wouldn’t flush! However, this was dealt with promptly and the heating was still on, even when we returned at midnight! That was a relief! Our breakfast was really good. Great selection of cereals and hot food on the menu. We chose a full English and Eggs Benedict! Lovely thick brown nutty toast and spreads. This set us up perfectly for the day. Thank you for everything.

What a gem of a pub! Staff all so happy to be there, service exceptional and pub inside and out and tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. A magical outdoor beer garden lights up at night. The food and menu are of the highest standard from the rocking 80s kitchen. Well done to Steve and team you have a great pub 👍

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The fish and chips were delightful and the haddock fish cakes are packed full of flavour. My friend who is picky on where she eats absolutely loved their chocolate brownie, sniffing it in delight and was happy to find a lemon wedge with the fish as she was mentioning how so many places she's been to don't.

We had the warmest of welcomes and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us! Our room was comfortable and a good size for family. Breakfast left us very satisfied and set up for the day. We would definitely recommend this inn to anyone visiting the area!

Had an average dinner here, what let it down was the food quality and portion size. Curry tasted like a frozen one to be honest an the prices didn't reflect the food quality!!! Such a shame as service an setting in venue was lovely.

Stayed in a two bedroom lodge at King's Head Inn with family for two nights whilst attending a wedding locally. Clean and spacious dwelling with all required if self catering. Provided a travel cot for our little one which was kind and hugh chairs available in main bar. Double room got quite noisy from street and bright in the morning (no blackouts) but the other room was set further back so better for baby to sleep in. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Good spot to visit local Rye attractions from

A lovely pub with excellent food . The staff are all very pleasant and friendly. I will be staying here soon after eating here twice . I'll let you know what it's like

The King's Head Inn was good and we had a very enjoyable evening. The standard of the food served was absolutely excellent. Service was a little on the slow side, but it was a busy evening in the establishment. I would certainly give the Kings Head another visit should I return to the area.
